| I recently received this letter from a family that purchased Hasso, as a family/personal protector. "Hi Mark it is Anthony. I was in the Hunts Point section of the South Bronx at 4 in the morning with Hasso and my father. My father was in the wholesale market buying merchandise and I was outside with Hasso waiting for my father. I was standing near my father's truck, loading the first boxes that he bought. It was dark out at that hour. Hasso was lying down while I was loading the truck and the boxes blocked Hasso from being seen. A man approached me and asked me if I had some spare change. I said no and he turned to walk away. Then from the corner of my eye I saw him coming at me with something in his hand which was a knife. Hasso jumped up and instantly grabbed the man's arm and then Hasso violently shook his head while he had his arm in his mouth. The man's knife fell on the floor. Then a piece of the man's jacket was in Hasso's mouth and the man ran for his life. I grabbed Hasso and held him by the collar which took all my strength. I did not let him chase the man, I did not want Hasso to get hit by a car or truck or maybe get hurt. or maybe he did not care if there was a dog there. Thank goodness for Hasso. I give Hasso salmon, chicken, meatballs, sausage, steak, eggs, pasta and of course his dry dog food. He usually eats his dry food after he has some of our food. I give him six cups of dry food a day with our food. Sincerely yours Anthony". |
